As I was learning to become a homemaker I often asked what makes a great homemaker, and realized there really isn't one definition. A great homemaker is one that provides all the needs for her family, and those needs can greatly change between households. Though there was always one common statement, being a loving wife, a caring mother, and creating a warm home for her family and outsiders.
While my house may not always be spotless, and quite often is far from, I do love my husband deeply; I care for my children unconditionally and welcome anyone into our home with open arms and a smile.
Like many other life ambitions, becoming my own perfect housewife is a work in progress and some days are better than others.
I do believe that the first step in becoming a better homemaker is a notebook that helps keep everything in order and organized.
