After our nephew suffered from a severe vaccine reaction, my husband and I started researching vaccinations. I will be talk about this topic later. Throughout that process many other red flags became apparent in our daily lives that were detrimental to our health. We just about to bring our first child into the world and wanted to make sure that he had the best chance at a healthy life.

 

While this is an on-going as process as well, we immediately decided that neither our children nor we will ever receive vaccines. We limit the amount of food and beverages that are contained in plastic. We have eliminated all High Fructose Corn Syrup, MSG, artificial sweeteners, and other chemically manufactured food additives. If I do not know what an ingredient is on a label I don’t buy it until I know what it is, and that it is safe.

 

Now I do want to say that we still have these things, because we do occasionally eat out, but we feel that it is best to eliminate these things from our everyday diet.

 

I also try to make as much as our food from scratch. I am mastering bread, and starting on noodles. I carefully select the other animal products to be free from antibiotics and hormones. I try to buy organic when it fits into the budget, when it doesn’t I buy the all natural version.

 

I have gotten rid of all non-stick cookware and bakeware and opted for stainless steel, though I am currently researching an all ceramic cookware and bakeware. All metal pans leach metals into our food.

 

I am making my own deodorant and laundry detergent and am getting ready to start a no shampoo regiment.

 

I do not use any chemicals for cleaning, as those leave toxic fumes and residue for us and the kids to pick up. Vinegar and baking soda can clean anything and everything.
